Programme promise

By the end of the bootcamp, each learner should have a practical digital portfolio showing AI-assisted work, graphic design projects, a responsive website, and basic hosting/deployment skills.

This bootcamp complements the school curriculum and student development programmes. It is an enrichment, STEM, innovation, digital skills, and career readiness programme — not a replacement for CBC or formal Computer Studies.

August Holiday Bootcamp

2 weeks / 10 training days / 40 hours

Intensive 2-week project-based holiday bootcamp covering AI, graphic design, web design, and web hosting.

  1. 1 Day 1: Orientation, digital careers, online safety, AI introduction
  2. 2 Day 2: Prompt engineering and responsible AI use
  3. 3 Day 3: AI for research, writing, study support, and productivity
  4. 4 Day 4: Graphic design principles, colour, layout, typography
  5. 5 Day 5: Social media graphics and personal brand design
  6. 6 Day 6: Web design basics, HTML structure
  7. 7 Day 7: CSS styling and responsive design
  8. 8 Day 8: Website pages, forms, images, and navigation
  9. 9 Day 9: Hosting basics, domains, cPanel, SSL, email, backups
  10. 10 Day 10: Capstone presentation and certification

November/December Holiday Bootcamp

4 weeks / 20 training days / 80 hours

Extended 4-week holiday bootcamp with deeper project work and portfolio development.

  1. 1 Week 1: AI Essentials and digital productivity
  2. 2 Week 2: Graphic Design and visual communication
  3. 3 Week 3: Web Design Basics
  4. 4 Week 4: Web Hosting, deployment, portfolio, and project showcase

  • Understand hosting, domains, DNS, SSL, and basic website deployment

Each learner creates an AI-assisted project plan, graphic design campaign poster, simple responsive website, basic hosted/published web project, and short project presentation.

Delivery models

Home-based Online

Live online sessions from home with guided projects, trainer support, and digital portfolio submission.

Home-based Physical

In-person training arranged for home/community cohorts with facilitator visits or nearby learning hubs.

School-based Online

Partner schools host learners for supervised online sessions using school computers and internet.

School-based Physical

On-site delivery at partner schools with computer lab access. Ideal for cohorts of 20–50 learners.

Who is this bootcamp for?

High school and CBC learners aged approximately 12–18 with interest in technology, STEM, creativity, and digital careers. School clubs and holiday learners are welcome.

Does this replace Computer Studies or CBC?

No. This is an enrichment programme that complements school curriculum. It focuses on practical projects, innovation, and career readiness.

What will my child achieve?

A digital portfolio with AI-assisted work, graphic design projects, a responsive website, and basic hosting skills — plus a certificate of participation/completion.

What delivery modes are available?

Home-based Online, Home-based Physical, School-based Online, and School-based Physical. Choose the option that best fits your learner or school partnership.

Can schools partner with Juwam?

Yes. We offer school-based online and school-based physical delivery for cohorts with computer lab or supervised online access. Request a partnership proposal for your school.

What equipment is needed?

Learners benefit from computer and internet access. Indicate availability on the application form so we can advise on a suitable delivery mode.

When are the bootcamps held?

August Holiday (2 weeks) and November/December Holiday (4 weeks). Dates are announced per cohort.

How much does it cost?

Fees are per course (track). School partnership learners pay KES 10,000 per course; independent applicants pay KES 15,000 per course. Each course runs for 2 weeks, 2 hours a day, 5 days a week. Taking more than one course means paying for each course selected.
